St Cuthberts Mill paper donation

Thank you to St Cuthberts Paper-making mill in Wells for donating some lovely water colour for my Arctic research expedition.
St Cuthberts Mill, based in Somerset, specialises in the paper manufacturing of high quality artists papers. Experienced papermakers carefully make professional mould made papers, using one of the few remaining cylinder mould machines left in the world.

Millford is their newest watercolour paper and is styled on the discontinued Whatman™ watercolour paper, after artists grieved the loss of this unique type of watercolour paper.

I've been experimenting with A5 samples of the Millford paper: these have frozen pigment and salt crystals which I'm allowing to melt and flow across the surface of the paper
